We have been busy in 2026 with two trips to San Lucas Toliman and many projects funded and worked on. Thankful to everyone for their contributions to help our brothers and sisters in Guatemala.
Projects

Funded Scholarships
Provided $4,000 for 2 children that we have helped throughout the years attend technical schools, including computer science.
Funded $3,000 to Education and More's Stoplight Poverty Program
Funded the organization to launch a partnership with the Universidad Francisco Marroquin University located in Guatemala City to help provide a real understanding and pathway for 100 families in and surrounding Lake Atitlan (including San Lucas Toliman). The goal is to bring families out of poverty and into sustainable and long lasting stability.
Funded Advent Mission San Lucas with $2,500
Advent Mission San Lucas is another organization working directly on the ground in San Lucas Toliman. Darly Rieke, its President, truly followed the Gospel and sold everything he had to work and dedicate his life to helping the people of San Lucas.
Advent Mission San Lucas does the following:
-
Throws a monthly party for 20 disabled including music, food, and games
-
Disributes food
-
Does House Visits for those unable to attend
-
Assists with exercises for patients in need
-
Shipping a cargo container full of supplies and donations in November of this year
-
Working on a house that contains a workshop to teach electrical, plumbing, mechanical, welding, and construction skills
-
Built a house for a family in need
Funded LEAST with $3,500
LEAST is one of the organizations on the ground in San Lucas Toliman with a focus on helping the elderly. Your donations helped provide dry goods to 55 elderly people and a walker and wheelchair to a person with diabetes that had a leg amputated. In addition, we provided a wheelchair to a person that had a stroke and a single bed to an elderly gentleman in need of one.
Funded a Kitchen
Funded a kitchen for a family in need.
Purchased tools including a saw with blades, a sander, trowels, and other tools to help in construction projects
Tools are hard to get in Guatemala, but we try to bring down essential tools when we can.
Provide thousands of dollars in vitamins, over the counter medicines, protein powders, and other supplements
We strive to take down large suitcases filled with important vitamins, medications, and other supplements that can be distributed through the House of Healing
Funding 40 portable refrigerators to store insulin and other temperature senstive medications
We are taking advantage of the cargo container that Advent Mission San Lucas is sending down in November by making an investment in small portable refrigerators to help change the lives of many that depend on medications that need cold storage.
Funded a vet clinic
The vet clinic being established at the House of Healing will be the only vet clinic operating in the whole Solola province. The vet clinic improves the community health in two vital ways. Stray dogs and cats are filled with disease and rummage around and through the homes around San Lucas Toliman. With proper treatment, the dog and cat population can be humanely taken care of and looked after. In addition, the vet clinic is providing an important source of employment for local community members.
